Will Porter is the Founder and front man for Will Porter Music. Will is a Chicago native born on the Westside, but raised on the Southside in what he calls the "Wild West and Wild Hunnits" (Hundreds). He picked up the Alto Sax at the tender age of 10, and by the age of 14 he received his first paid performance/gig and at the same time became, what he humbly refers to as, a "Semi-

Professional Classical & Jazz Musician."

Since the beginning of his career and education in Jazz he proved to be a trend setter winning multiple gold medals in solo competitions not readily available to those living on the Westside or Southside of Chicago. He's been the 1st chair Alto in almost every band, and orchestra his acquired as a Free Lance Performer.

He's also responsible for bringing Gallery 37 Jazz Band to his Highschool (Morgan Park) where more musicians attending the school would also receive their first paid gig. He's also dabbled in assisting with movie, TV, and advertising score compositions and served as the ensemble's head of marketing, business, automations, and communications making him a force to be reckoned with. He also dedicates a lot of his free time to perfecting his passion in music, as well as, in both Digital Marketing and Experiential Marketing in effort to make a positive impact on the world of music as well as other artists and performers.
